ISPS HANDA Australian Open

For sports fans and lovers of golf, the 2023 ISPS HANDA Australian Open is an event not to be missed!

Thurs 30th Nov - Sunday 3rd Dec 2023

After a successful debut in Melbourne in 2022, the 2023 ISPS HANDA Australian Open will unveil its new mixed gender format, together with the inspiring All Abilities Championship in NSW for the very first time. The Open will take place from 30 Nov – 3 Dec, across two of NSW’s finest golf courses, with The Australian Golf Club, the primary host venue across all four days of the tournament and The Lakes Golf Club set to co-host the first two days of play.

Off the back of last year’s world-first joint format, and with a sustained focus on inclusiveness, the Men’s Australian Open, Women’s Australian Open and Australian All Abilities Championship (AAAC) will again take to the course together to deliver four days of elite golfing action.

The men’s open returns to The Australian for the first time since 2019, while the women’s open homecoming to Sydney is 15 years in the making since 2007. Both fields will again compete for a minimum $3.4 million total prize pool, with the men’s event co-sanctioned by the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia and DP World Tour and women’s sanctioning with the WPGA Tour of Australasia.
